Project 17 has now worked with over 1000 leaders from across the region to help them improve their civic leadership skills. We have had multiple requests for another leadership training in the event focused on how to lead through change. That change may be organizational change, personal change, or change to funding or management structures. “Immunity to Change” will focus on why we ourselves are resistant to change and how we can be more purposeful leaders of ourselves and others during times of change. This training comes at a valuable time as many positive changes are happening in the region, while other changes are happening that are out of people’s control. We hope this free leadership training opportunity will help everyone move forward more effectively in times of change. This will be the only time this training is offered within the region.
Therefore, encourage you to register right away for this training. Training will be July 25th in the Chanute Memorial Building’s Alliance Room, 101 S. Lincoln, Chanute KS 66720. Training will last from 9 to 12:30. Neither lunch nor snacks will be provided. However, because space in the room is limited RSVP’s are requested. Please RSVP by answer the google doc form. We will email you to confrim your registration.
Please share this information with your network of contacts and invite anyone interested. We hope as many citizens as possible will attend and have the opportunity to improve their civic leadership skills and learn to better lead during times of change. Ron Alexander will be the faculty for the training. If you have any questions please let me know. Feel free to pass this information on to any of your contacts as well. This is an amazing opportunity for free leadership training in the region. Thanks.
