Rural Kansas Bucks National Employment Decline

According to analysis by the Topeka Capital-Journal based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics compiled by The Daily Yonder, from October 2012-October 2013 the state of Kansas added 3,112 jobs in its rural counties at a time when much of the nation experienced decline. Coffey and Bourbon counties are among growth leaders for the state.
